Free Keyword Position Checker

4.9/5·612 votes

See exactly where your site ranks on Google for any keyword. Bulk-check up to 10 keywords at once — live SERP data, no cached numbers.

How to use position data

  • Positions 4–10: just off the top 3. Improve the existing page (better title, more depth, internal links) — fastest path to more clicks.
  • Positions 11–20: you're indexed and relevant but losing to better-optimized competitors. Run our SEO Checker on the URL to find on-page gaps.
  • Not in top 30: either no page targets the term, or topical authority is too thin. Publish a dedicated page and earn 2–3 internal links to it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a keyword position checker?

It tells you the exact Google position your domain holds for any keyword. Enter your URL and a list of keywords; we scan the top 30 results for each and report where you appear.

How many keywords can I check at once?

Up to 10 keywords per run on the free plan. Each keyword is a live SERP fetch — bulk runs of 50+ are available on the paid plan.

Why does my keyword show 'Not in top 30'?

Your page isn't ranking on page 1–3 for that exact term. Either the keyword is too competitive for your current authority, or your page isn't optimized for it. Run our free SEO Checker on the target URL to see why.

Is the data real-time?

Yes — every check pulls a fresh, live Google-style SERP at the moment you click 'Check'. We don't show cached positions.

Does location matter?

Results reflect the global, signed-out, US-style SERP. For city/state-specific positions you'd need a paid rank tracker; the local-pack winner can differ from the organic position.

How is this different from a Google rank checker?

Same thing — different name. 'Keyword position', 'keyword rank', 'SERP position', and 'Google rank' all refer to where your URL appears in the organic results for a given query.
