Free SEO ("we", "us", "our") is a product of Interest Bud Solutions Private Limited, a global software development company with offices in Spain, India, Israel and the United Kingdom. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use freeseo.in and how we use, share and protect it.

1. Data we collect

Account data

  • Name, email address and (if you sign in with Google) profile picture.
  • Authentication identifiers issued by our identity provider.

Scan data

  • URLs you submit for SEO analysis and the rendered HTML / Markdown of those public pages.
  • Computed scores, detected issues and AI-generated suggestions.

Billing data

  • Plan, subscription status and customer identifiers from our payment processor (Paddle). We never receive or store full card numbers.

Usage & technical data

  • IP address, browser, device, pages visited, timestamps, error logs.

2. How we use your data

  • To provide, maintain and improve the Free SEO service.
  • To run scans, generate reports and apply fixes you authorize (e.g. WordPress auto-fix).
  • To process payments, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
  • To send transactional emails (account, billing, security). Marketing emails only with consent.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process personal data on the bases of contract performance, legitimate interest, consent and legal obligation, depending on the activity. See our GDPR statement for details on EU/UK data subject rights.

4. Sharing

We share data only with carefully selected sub-processors that help us run the service:

  • our backend platform, authentication, database, file storage.
  • Cloudflare, application hosting and edge runtime.
  • Firecrawl, public webpage rendering for scans.
  • Paddle, billing, tax and merchant of record.
  • Google, optional OAuth sign-in.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Interest Bud Solutions Private Limited operates globally. Where data is transferred outside the EEA / UK / India, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. Retention

  • Account data: kept while your account is active and up to 30 days after deletion.
  • Scan data: kept while your account is active. You may delete individual scans at any time.
  • Billing records: kept for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting laws.

7. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Email support@interestbudsolutions.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We follow industry best practices, including TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access controls and regular security reviews. See our Security page for more.

9. Children

Free SEO is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes

We will post any updates to this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified by email.
